In my pre tournament predictions I put Cilic as a dark horse, it is really good to see him coming off an age.
When he lost to Delpo at U S open last year, not many took notice of him but he has a powerful and varied game which means that he would be a contender for top 5 sooner or later.
I am not too sure if he can go all the way, as looking at the way current proceedings Andy looks very good and his game is flowing really well.
I missed the first 2 sets but in the third turning point was Cilic getting the break back from DelPo by virtue of a double fault. It was interesting to see how Cilic outplayed Delpo. It seemed that he was playing Delpo more on his backhand plus Cilic returns of serve are pretty good.
at present Cilic vs Murray semi looks very much on the card. Andy vs Nadal will be another cracking match.
On the predictions OP very few people have given chance to Verdasco of beating Davydenko but I think Nando might sneak through. let's see what happens.
